Zeitgeist

“It is said that what is called " zeitgeist” or “ the spirit of an age" is something to which one cannot return.
That this spirit gradually dissipates is due to the world's coming to an end.
For this reason, although one would like to change today's world back to the spirit of one hundred years or more ago, it cannot be done.
Thus it is important to make the best out of every generation.”

Solitude

“A man can be himself only so long as he is alone; and if he does not love solitude, he will not love freedom; for it is only when he is alone that he is really free.”

From Gardens Where We Feel Insecure I

I think humor showing nonsense situations, social contradictions, absurdities and the surreal in Photography are very important.

Phone Call II

What do you think or dream will come true in the future with new mobile phones.
Just when you think you are alone and safe, a call can come and change your life.

Phone Call I

Keep your photos open-ended. Don’t spoil the story for your viewer. Add some intrigue and mystery to your photos.
Don’t make them too obvious to decode or understand. This will make them much more engaging, interesting and memorable.

Backstreet II

The back of the houses can be both a magical place of adventures

Backstreet I

Backyard I

When we pass in the streets of every city we see the facades of houses and forget that there is a parallel and half-hidden world. The backyard world.
And the back of the houses can be both a magical place of adventures as place of despair and pain.

Street Colours IX

A very hot day. An evening with warm light and huge shadows.
The colors complement each other harmoniously.
A man seems to walk along the wall towards an ad that promises bright and fresh beers.
Or maybe towards the red lights and green roof mauve, glowing in the dark, of a taxi stopped with the door opened, mysteriously, as if, with premeditation, it was waiting for someone - because the ad also speaks of hitchhiking?

As children we believe in magic. When we become adults magic diminishes to nonbelief. Photographers have a chance to find and believe in magic again.
